How To Connect The Booking Engine With Your Website

At Monk Tech Labs, we offer a Booking Engine that simplifies the process of tracking real-time availability, maximizing bookings, and managing scheduled visits from your prospects.

Before enabling the Booking Engine, there are a few prerequisites to consider:

• Company Website with a Root Domain: Ensure you have a company website with a root domain in place.

• Properties Set Up on MTL Godview: Your properties should be set up within the MTL Godview.

We offer two ways to set up the Booking Engine: Assisted Set-up and Self Set-up.

1. Assisted Set-up:

• Share the DNS credentials, along with the root domain name and the domain provider's login website.

• Please disable two-factor authentication before sharing these details.

• The MTL team will complete the Booking Engine setup within 24-48 hours.

2. Self Set-up:

• Log in to your DNS provider account (e.g., GoDaddy).

• Go to 'Grow' > 'Booking Engine' > Domain Settings > Click on 'Setup Domain'.

• Add your subdomain with the root domain (e.g., listings.yourdomain.com).

• On the next step, a CNAME will be auto-generated and displayed in two sections: Name and Value.

• There will be a 'Copy' section next to every CNAME. Use the 'Copy' option to copy the values (along with the full stop at the end) and add two individual records in your DNS account. Each record should have a Name and Value associated with it.

• Once the records are added, click on 'Connect' in the MTL dashboard.

• If the records are added correctly, an SSL certificate will be generated, and the domain will be connected within 2-3 working days.

• Upon completing the setup, you can use the link created earlier to access the Booking Engine. Similarly, you can use the same link to connect to a Call to Action (CTA) on your homepage, redirecting you to the Booking Engine.
