How To Use Gender Based Auto Allocation

Modified on Tue, 21 Nov, 2023 at 12:35 PM

When you've completed the initial property setup and opted for the 'Yearly' stay option, you now have the capability to streamline unit allocation based on gender preferences. This feature simplifies the process of assigning units and enhances the overall user experience for both property managers and residents.

Here's how this setup works:

  • Vacant units with specific gender preferences will exclusively receive bookings from individuals of the corresponding gender.

  • Units without any gender preference will be allocated bookings based on availability, ensuring optimal utilization.

To configure this setup, follow these simple steps:

  • Setting Preferred Gender for Units:

During unit creation, specify the 'Preferred gender' from the options: 'Male,' 'Female,' or 'Any.' Assigning a preferred gender to each unit is crucial for the automated allocation process.

  • Accessing the 'Booking Form' Setup:

Access the 'Yearly' stay type details by clicking the provided link in the notes section. This link will guide you to the relevant section within the 'Grow' tab.

  • Configuring Gender Allocation:

  1. Within the 'Booking form' page, navigate to the vertical section and scroll down to the 'Additional details' area.

  2. Click 'Add details' and select 'Gender' from the dropdown options.

  3. Click 'Add field' and then 'Save' to apply the changes.

With these steps completed, the booking process will be seamlessly integrated with gender-based allocation rules. Bookings originating from the booking portal will automatically be assigned to units based on the gender of the booking applicant.
