How To Create Invoice Reminders

Following up on pending payments is a task that nobody enjoys. It's time-consuming and can be a hassle, yet it's undeniably crucial for the success of your business. To alleviate the burden of follow-ups, we've introduced the 'Reminders' feature.

Setting Up Payment Reminders:

To configure a reminder sequence for pending invoices, follow these simple steps:

• Access the Reminders Feature: Navigate to Core > Accounts > Reminders.

• Create a New Reminder: Click on "+Reminder" and choose 'Schedule'.

• Provide Property Details: Add the necessary property details and select 'Occupied' and 'Under notice' from the occupancy status dropdown.

• Select the Service: Pick the specific service for which invoices have been sent, such as 'Rent'.

• Invoice Handling: Under the Invoice section, choose 'Individual invoice' to send separate reminders for each pending invoice. Alternatively, select 'Consolidated invoice' to combine reminders for all pending invoices.

• Set Reminder Frequency: Define the frequency of these reminders in the 'Repeat' section. You can specify the reminder's start date and end date.

• Choose Reminder Medium: Select the preferred medium for these reminders to be shared, such as Email or in-app messages.

• Submit and Create Reminders: Once you've configured the reminder details, click 'Submit', and the reminders will be created.

By implementing these payment reminders, you can streamline your operations and relieve your team of the burden of manual follow-ups.
