How To Create A Quotation

Modified on Wed, 19 Jun at 10:18 PM

Creating and managing quotations is a crucial step when tenants or property owners need to approve charges. Monk Tech Labs simplifies this process, allowing you to easily create and monitor the status of quotations. Whether it's for an entire property or individual units, our platform streamlines the quotation process for you.

Creating a Quotation: Follow these straightforward steps to create a quotation:

  • Access Quotation Section: Begin by navigating to Core > Accounts > Quotations.

  • Initiate a New Quotation: Click on '+ Add Quotation' to start creating a new quotation.

  • Select the Unit: Tag the specific unit for which you're generating the quotation. The user details will be automatically populated based on the tenants added in the contract.

  • Add Date and Service/Product: Specify the 'Date of Quotation' creation and the service or product for which you're generating the quotation.

  • Include Internal Notes: You can add any relevant internal notes under the 'Others' section.

  • Attach Relevant Documents: If there are documents related to the quotation, they can be uploaded under the 'Documents' tab.

  • Save or Save and Send: After adding all necessary details, you'll have two options:

  1. 'Save': Use this option if you want to keep a record of the quotation but do not wish to share it with the tenant.

  2. 'Save and Send': Opt for this if you want to send the quotation to the tenant for their review.

Approving a Quotation: To mark a quotation as 'Approved,' follow these steps:

  • Open the quotation you wish to approve.

  • Click on the edit icon.

  • In the dropdown menu labeled 'Status,' select 'Approved.'

  • This action will enable a slot for 'Approved by', tag the PoC approving the quotation.

  • After filling in these details, save the quotation to officially mark it as approved.
