TheHouseMonk streamlines the process of transitioning from quotations to invoices and further to receipts, ensuring time savings and precision in data capture. This seamless flow enables you to maintain accurate records while simplifying your financial operations.

Converting a Quotation to an Invoice:

Follow these steps to effortlessly convert a quotation into an invoice:

  • Access Quotations: Start by locating your quotation under Core > Accounts > Quotations.

  • Open the Quotation: Click on the specific quotation you want to convert, and you'll find an option labeled 'Convert to Invoice' on the details page.

  • Create the Draft Invoice: Select 'Convert to Invoice,' and TheHouseMonk will generate a draft invoice with all the details imported from the quotation.

  • Save or Save and Send: After ensuring that all necessary details are correct, choose one of two options:

  1. 'Save': This option is ideal if you want to keep a record of the invoice without immediately sharing it with the tenant.

  2. 'Save and Send': Opt for this if you wish to promptly send the invoice to the tenant for their review.

  • With these steps, you can seamlessly transform a quotation into an invoice with ease and precision.

Converting an Invoice to a Receipt:

Once the invoice is paid, it's equally effortless to convert it into a receipt:

  • Access Invoices: Navigate to Core > Accounts > Invoices to locate the specific invoice you want to convert.

  • Open the Invoice: Open the invoice, and you will spot an option to 'Register a Receipt.'

  • Fill in Payment Details: Click on this option, and a popup will appear, prompting you to provide details regarding the payment method and payment transaction number.

  • Submit the Receipt: After adding these payment details, simply click 'Submit,' and the receipt will be registered.

This streamlined process ensures that your financial records are complete and accurate, saving you time and effort.
