How To Create A Commercial Property

Setting up a property on Monk Tech Labs marks the foundational step in configuring your system. Properties serve as the cornerstone, linking data concerning units, tenants, and contracts back to their respective properties.

To create a Commercial property seamlessly, follow these steps:

• Navigate to Core > My Data > Properties > + Property.

• Utilize the map input box to effortlessly locate and select your project on Google Maps. The system will then automatically populate the remaining details. Alternatively, input the information manually, including the project name, location, pin code, etc.

• Select the property type as ‘Commercial’ 

• Below the map, identify and tag the 'Point of Contact' for the project. This step holds significant importance, as all resident complaints and issues for this project will default to the designated Point of Contact. Ideally, the primary POC should be the society/site supervisor for the project.

• Complete the SEO fields, including the meta title and meta description if applicable. Select the Ticket Services offered for your property from the Service Categories dropdown.

• Company Information : In this section, add details related to the company registration. Please note, these details will reflect on the invoices shared with the tenant. 

• Service Categories : If applicable, select the ticket categories you’d want the tenants from this property to see. 

• In the subsequent section, specify the amenities your property provides. Currently, these Amenities are hard-coded and cannot be changed. But you can add a key feature of your choice. 

• Enhance the property profile by adding essential documents and property images.

• Conclude the process of adding the property by clicking on 'Save & Exit.'
