Contract Update : Moving A Tenant Out

After a contract is created, the process of updating it, especially when tenants are moving out, is incredibly straightforward.


Follow these steps to Move a tenant out - 


  • Access the Contract Tab: Navigate to "Core" > "My Data" > "Units". Open a specific unit and head to the "Contract" tab. Click the "Edit" button, to update the details of the contract

  • Tenancy Status : Update the tenancy status from ‘Occupied by tenant’ to ‘Under notice’ on the day of their notice period starts.

  • Click on ‘Submit’ and a popup confirming the move out date of the tenant will show up.

  • After adding the move out date, click Confirm and submit the contract. 


  • Now the tenant contract will be ‘Under notice’ and a ‘Vacant’ contract will be added on the system for future bookings to be taken from the next available date. 

  • Submission: Once all details are entered, click "Submit" to update the contract.

  • Move out : Re-open the 'Under notice' contract and change the occupancy status to 'Moved out'. Upon submission, the tenant will be moved out and the contract will be stored under 'Previous' tab.
